The mayor of Rota, José Javier Ruiz Arana, has formalized this morning the participation of Rota in the initiative to promote Cadiz Bienmesabe, through an agreement signed by the mayor and Juan Eudes Ochoa, CEO of Global Media Office, the company responsible for the development of this project promoted by the Provincial Council.
Thus, the City of Rota has been the first municipality in Cadiz to formally join this initiative not only at the institutional level but also to involve companies and entrepreneurs in the city related to the tourism sector, hospitality and primary sectors that have much to say in promoting the city and its gastronomy.
One of the main proposals with which Cadiz Bienmesabe wants to project the agri-food values and gastronomic quality of the province is the 1st Agri-Food Fair to be held from 21 to 24 October at IFECA (Jerez de la Frontera), where Rota will have its own stand to publicize its powerful gastronomic, producer and tourist offer.
The CEO of Global Media highlighted the trajectory of our city in the production of quality products, as well as its traditional and international cuisine which some media have defined “the UN of gastronomy” to cover a wide range of quality cuisine ranging from traditional to Chinese cuisine, pizzerias, Italian and American cuisine or Tex-Mex, the result of the synergy that has meant the relationship of Rota with the American people as a result of the installation of the Naval Base. In the same way, he referred to Rota as an enclave of interest for new initiatives and entrepreneurs who are settling in our town.
The first mayor recalled that the City of Rota was interested from the outset to participate in a promotion as powerful as this that is carried out in a joint manner and that is a very attractive and effective idea to achieve the best results in disseminating our resources and values.
In the same way, he was convinced that such projects have to go hand in hand with the business community, entrepreneurs and producers in the case of our city will be present in the own stand that Rota will have in the 1st Agri-Food Fair in the province.
Being an active part of this initiative that seeks to discover all the values of our land and project them to the world so that they want to come to our land is another step in the clear commitment that the municipal government maintains to promote gastronomy as an important tourist resource that adds value to all the many charms offered by the Tourist Municipality of Rota.
